Carla Trim-Vamben

Carla started her dance training at the age of four in ballet and tap. By the age of sixteen she realised that she wanted to pursue a career in dance and continued training at Barnet College before graduating with a BA (Hons) in Dance Studies from Middlesex University.
Carla’s versatility as a dance artists enabled her to work with companies such as Jane Sekonya, Jonzi D, London Diaspora Dance Theatre, Sean Graham Dance Theatre, Impact Dance, Popworld and Vocab Dance.
Carla's teaching career is going from strength to strength: She was appointed Lecturer for The University of East London and works as a Lead Tutor for East London Dance and Newceys as well as teaching all across London. Carla is currently studying and researching House Dance, looking at aspects of social and club culture being brought through into the mainstream. Carla has been with the company since it started in January 2009.
